¿Sabías que…?
A golden lion tamarin weighs only about 650 grams, less than a pound and a half.1
It pokes its long, thin fingers into cracks in tree bark to find insects.1
Tamarins sleep in tree holes at night, where they stay warm and safe.1
Babies are usually born as twins, and the father does most of the caring.1
They eat fruit, insects and small lizards.2

Quiénes están ayudando
Most of the forest they live in has been cut into small patches. People in Brazil are replanting forest so tamarin families can travel from one patch to the next again.
